A 4 year old movie with a whopping 99 ratings. Rougly 70% gave it 3 or lower. 41% gave it a 1. Me too.
Rarely do I feel compelled to review a movie I don't see to the very end. But this movie was so bad, in every area, writing, directing, casting, acting.....and with todays public awareness about violence, racial inequities, this movie was also socially blind and deal. I confess. I stomached nearly an hour, but then it was just too horrible. Fingernails on a blackboard, or watching a kitten walk into traffic horrible to watch.
So I'm breaking my rule, in hopes of saving a few readers 94 minutes, I promise you'll wish you could retrieve. If you start thinking "it can't be this bad", or "it has to get better"....it is and it won't.
Plot summary
Retired Navy S.E.A.L. Christopher 'Soup' Campbell is a tactical specialist for a private security firm at a counter terrorism training facility hidden in the Blue Ridge Mountains. The military and intelligence community call him 'Soup', not only because of the familiarity of his last name, but his ability to combine and assess a variety of threats into a strategic tactical response. A specific skill that came useful on many of his combat tours into Iraq and Afghanistan.

"The perfect day," an incredibly imperfect movie
True American Heroes!!
Although this is a low budget film, the story line and the fact that this truly happened on American soil is phenomenal. God bless our brave soldiers. Thank you for sharing this with us.
Didn't see any racism, but then I fell asleep.
Nothing like the movie brief implies. Very slow! Even fast forward couldn't save it.It actually had a few promising moments, but they were far and in between. If this was cut down to about 1/3rd the time, and don't cut out the few action parts, it was be a lot better movie.
