The core family unit returns. Most of the movie was shot on location in Canada and about a third of the dialog is in English. If you enjoyed part one then part two should be no problem.

Highly recommended.

Another laugh-out-loud comedy with the Biu Family!

In this Hong Kong classic comedy sequel, Bill (Bill Tung) returns with his family (Lydia Sum, Elsie Chan, Loletta Lee and Pauline Kwan)to again make ends meet to support themselves in urban Hong Kong. After losing their lottery winnings during the bank's closure, the family's luck changes again as Bill's job promotion and daughters' education and work careers sent them to lead their new lives in Canada, where new misadventures await.

The acting was excellent in the movie, from the fast-talking and wise-cracking Bill Tung to the acid wit and no-nonsense Lydia Shum. All the characters, especially Bill and Lydia, delivered a unique brand of laugh-out-loud humor and deadpan comedy. It's entertaining seeing each of the family members go through misadventures in their lives, from Lydia speeding away in a motorcycle to the hospital to deliver her baby, to the family going against a bunch of henchmen to claim their lottery winnings. Even with their new chapter in Canada, the characters learns that consequences follow and there is nothing more priceless than a close-knit family. There's also a nice Chinese New Year and Christmas holidays background in the plot as well.

The plot is solid and fast-paced and you'll be thoroughly entertaining by this family comedy from start to finish!
