Heidi LaRoc (Sheri Moon Zombie),Herman Salvador and Herman Jackson are an alternative DJ crew at local Salem radio station WIQZ. A mysterious wooden box containing a vinyl record by the Lords arrives at the station for Heidi. Heidi interviews Francis Matthias (Bruce Davison) who wrote a book about the Salem witch trials. She decides to play the record on the air. It starts a series of disturbing visions. Matthias is concerned about the record and starts investigating.
Rob Zombie has mastered the art of disturbing imagery. He has style to spare. His storytelling continues to be incoherent. This story is relatively simple which allows the audience to follow easier. I would love to see him direct somebody else's script and stick close to it. Without structure, he has a tendency to go off on a tangent.

Plot summary
Heidi, a blond rock chick, DJs at a local radio station, and together with the two Hermans (Whitey and Munster) forms part of the "Big H Radio Team." A mysterious wooden box containing a vinyl record arrives for Heidi, a gift of the Lords. She assumes it's a rock band on a mission to spread their word. As Heidi and Whitey play the Lords' record, it starts to play backwards, and Heidi experiences a flashback to a past trauma. Later, Whitey plays the Lords' record, dubbing them the Lords of Salem, and to his surprise, the record plays normally and is a massive hit with his listeners. The arrival of another wooden box from the Lords presents the Big H team with free tickets, posters and records to host a gig in Salem. Soon, Heidi and her cohorts are far from the rock spectacle they're expecting. The original Lords of Salem are returning and they're out for blood.

THE GOAT HAS FREE WILL
This is a new take on "Rosemary's Baby" done in the Rob Zombie near porno style. Heidi (Sheri Moon Zombie) is part of a hip radio talk team in Salem. She lives in a modest apartment building with three elderly women and an apartment that never rents. On Tuesday she finds out the goat has free will and by Thursday she is chasing the rabbit. She is haunted by weird dreams and visions. Francis Mathias (Bruce Davison) plays the investigator, checking out new music by "The Lords of Salem."
Michael Berryman and Sid Haig are in unrecognizable roles, a waste of their talents. Zombie fans will enjoy this blasphemous film. All others I would recommend watching before buying.
Parental Guide: F-bomb, full frontal nudity (some not that pretty),simulated oral sex.
Say Lem Lords
My summary line makes no sense, but the story itself makes no sense too, so it kinda works. While the movie seems to be straightforward (and it is most of the time),it does have some weirdness left in it. You may like that fact or be completely thrown off (not that many will be thrilled or enthusiastic during the movie).
At least Rob tried something different, though he did again rely on his spouse. In this case she's even playing the lead role. She's doing a decent job with the crazy plot. She has fun, as do the other actors and some things are really fun. Others may seem a bit annoying and that's a running theme through the movie. It never really reaches any heights or highlights that are worthwhile, but it's kind of a standard horror movie that does entertain if you let it
