I not a review kind of person, but I like to give praise when praise is due! Shout out to Drew Seeley. Compelling and a must see!
Plot summary
What do a farmer in Kansas, a laid-off factory worker in Ohio, and an Uber driver in Florida have in common? All three are resourceful, positive thinkers who strive to adapt and thrive despite dehumanizing forces at play in the American economy. As the film's heroes face these roadblocks with courage, certain ideals remain sacred: family, love, and staying strong in the face of adversity. Lush cinematography galvanizes a sense of place and, as the narrative unfolds, the intimacy with the characters results in an emotionally rich observational drama. Ultimately, "The Disrupted" reveals a collective American experience of financial challenge, family resilience, and the quest for the purpose and dignity of work.

Superficial Biased and Unimportant
This is just another anti-American diatribe brought to you from the far left dark money.
There is no attempt at being fair or unbiased.
It is an agenda-based movie which takes a far left point of view and then cherry picks and edits so that a pre-decided outcome is unveiled.
Boring.
Moving, thought-provoking documentary from Sarah Colt
1m ago Actually the filmmaker, Sarah Colt, was being prescient in this narrative of 3 families pre-Covid and subsequent economic collapse. As a filmmaker, she is possessed of a tender heart and a beautiful eye. She has also chosen compelling subjects. The ones in particular who grabbed me were the young couple we see in the accompanying picture. They moved me, well all of them did, and I would love to know how they are faring. Visually and thematically interesting. Give it a watch!
