Attack of the Puppet People and Dr. Cyclops are generally considered classic B-movie fare and for good reason: These films exploit the potential of their premise. While I admire those who put forth the effort to try and make a flick they think will be entertaining, I also recognize the need to warn a would-be audience of the failure. Mediocre acting, little effective use of the premise, little to enjoy. I'll generously give it 1 star, hoping to balance out those who gave it a 10 or even slightly less, obviously friends of the cast or crew...

Support your upcoming artists! We can't go to the film festivals this year but we can still support the art. This film is a great example of originality of artistic expression outside the BIG BOX production industry. We need fresh new stories rather than continuous recycling of the same tired themes that the film industry lazily relies on.

And even better, the ladies represent - female writers and producers created this scrappy little gem from scratch! We need more women in leadership to balance the perspective, including the movie biz.

While tight budgets show in the finer details, the bigger picture is a story well told.

I do not understand those reviews that have this a 10 out of 10. This is far from being a perfect film unless you have never seen a horror film before or you have been paid to write favourite review. The acting is acceptable/ soap opera-ish for the most part but the plotline is just silly. The characters are all throw away clichéd ones. One of the first scenes is reminiscent of the start of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. However, this bunch of actors lack the chemistry & some of them seem very wooden! There is very little character development in this film & they are so superficial that one cannot help but not care about the outcome of most of the characters. If you like your soap opera TV shows then you might enjoy this whereas i most certainly did not!
