I watched this while wrapping Christmas presents. Often I can get distracted and miss parts of tv movies but there were no key points to miss in this one. It was sweet and fine enough but. I kept waiting for something to happen. Totally predictable ending but nothing to get me invested into the story.
Plot summary
Emilia works as a cartographer and just before Christmas she gets a last minute assignment to make a treasure map over the North Pole for children. She always tries to include as much facts as possible in her maps and when it turns out that the famous explorer photographer Drew Campbell is visiting her town her boss suggest that she cooperates with him as he has first hand experience from the North Pole. Emilia finds Drew quite self-important and is skeptical to work with him. But after she's planned an agenda and forces him to follow it they start to work better together and another form of tension is created between them.

Can I vote -10 stars? You should introduce the negative scale too.
Can anyone explain to me ad the other 1 billion people why your entertainment wants to spit into our faces? Why do you always inject instigations to razial mixing in absolutely all movies, TV series and cartoons ?
Small town good
So many Christmas movies make it sound like small towns are the only place to be and that's OK. It's one way to look at things.
The story is totally average. There are no highs or lows or surprises. There is no tension or villain. There is not really any conflict between the leads, after they get past the initial obligatory antagonism. The lead characters do the usual Christmas/winter activities. The ending is predictable.
The surprise in this move is Eva Avila. Her resume according to IMDb is very short. Unfortunately, her character Emilia is almost unlikeable for the first third of the movie as she seems to be looking for more ways to disrespect Drew. Gradually, the sparring turns a little playful and then disappears, albeit a little too completely. Avila is appealing and charming. Her chemistry with Ronnie Rowe is good. I hope she shows up in more rom/coms.
I said the story is average, but I still enjoyed it.
