Couldn't watch it... Philomena character was SO awful I turned it off! She was rude & mean & not a good example.
Totally put me off in the first 5 minutes.
I don't need to watch that garbage.

5.4Plot summary
Cupid wants to retire and Ruby, one of his more hopeless assistants, wants the job. She is challenged by cupid to, before Christmas, find a match for collage professor Charlie. He has a terrible dating record and has settled for living without romance. With her normal amount of enthusiasm she goes down to earth to find Charlie the love of his life but it turns out to be harder than she thought. Charlie is very reluctant to go back to dating and on top of that she has to promise not to use any magic. It gets even more complicated when she finds Charlie really charming underneath his awkwardness.

Silly and thoroughly enjoyable
That was great fun. We weren't too sure about this movie in the beginning, but it kept getting better.
The fight during the stage play was perfect.
I don't know the two leads, but I liked their chemistry and acting.
I would watch this again.

This movie was a surprise - cheesy in parts, yes, but also totally funny. I loved the main characters and their chemistry. Ruby is absolutely adorable - great job by Melanie Stone. I liked the supporting cast too, especially Philomena & the dean.
Overall, a really cute holiday romcom.
