The extreme realism of the film reaches the point of being annoying compared to many films that claim to be realistic and philosophical. And this is because maybe we expected to see a film without acting and only with some styles. But trying to play an emotional game makes the film even more realistic. Too much loyalty to the initial plan of the script leads to bugs in the story. We should stick to the original plan when everything goes according to plan. The music is definitely one of the weaknesses of the film. And finally, a complete drama film with a slightly incomplete ending. Even the funny parts of the film have a realism, whether intended or not.

A film that just remains on its story
As Bad as You Might THink
The acting is barely passable.
The directing is poor. This director is far better at setting up a scene than actualy having the movie progress. She should be a cinematographer and not have lofy ideas of becoming Orson Welles. Cuz Orson she ain't.
Brut Force BTW is a bad title. The story moves slowly with little action. 90 minutes feels like 900.
The guitar track is distracting and a poor choice for music.
In sum, the movie LOOKS good. But it's NOT good.
Marvelous Depiction of an Untold Story
The acting is phenomenal, especially by the lead character, up and coming actress, Lelia Symington. The directing superb. A cryptic thriller that keeps you glued to the screen, asking for more. This is a story that hasn't been told quite like this. It unravels the mysterious world of small town wine country, often left in the shadows. I hope to see more from this group of artists in the future. I would love to see this movie become a mini series because I think there is runway and much more left to be spoken about. Fantastic work!
