The plot of this movie is along the lines of the comedy 'Employee of the month' meets 'Shaun of the Dead' but without any humour. As for the horror, there isn't really any of that either, even the characterisation is lazy and stereotypical. Avoid like a zombie plague, I will always forgive Bruce though.

Even taken as being made to be a humorous spoof of Black (now called Green) Friday shopping discount, and as creepy horror attacks humans script it was monotonously boring & cheap. Alien blob (unexplained as to origin) grows & engulfs shoppers in store. Alien blob looked like some inflatable plastic bubble material.

Saw this movie because my spouse and I are both Bruce Campbell fans, and it was exactly what we expected and we loved it. This is definitely a movie for fans of things like Ash vs The Evil Dead, Stan Against Evil, Deadtectives, Santa's Slay, Ready or Not, and even Return of the Living Dead. It's filled with cheese, and humor that's definitely not to everyone's taste, but if the above list is full of things you already like, this is one you'll definitely enjoy. It's ridiculous and we were there for every moment of it.
