I fully realize that some of this comedy is so basic and childish. But it made me laugh. So many times I thought to myself "they're so stupid" while simultaneously cracking up. Similar to (but nowhere close to) the Sacha Baron Cohen stuff and Nathan For You. I had a good time with this movie. (1 viewing, 1/24/2022)

Definitely a unique and funny movie...
I found "Bad Trip" on Netflix and opted to sit down and watch it as I hadn't already seen it. And the title combined with the movie's cover/poster actually seemed like this could be something enjoyable. Sure, I hadn't even heard about "Bad Trip" prior to watching it, so I wasn't sure what I was in for.
It dawned on me pretty quick that this movie was not just a normal movie, because it had that hidden camera prank thing going on. But once you get into that, then "Bad Trip" is actually a rather enjoyable and funny movie, and I have to say that I was actually genuinely entertained by it.
The movie is starring Eric André, Michaela Conlin, Michaela Conlin and Tiffany Haddish, whom actually put on great performances and definitely carried the movie quite well, making it all the more enjoyable.
While "Bad Trip" was a fun movie, it hardly is a movie that warrants more than just a single viewing. Why? Well, the storyline just doesn't really have enough contents to it to support more than just a single viewing. But if you get the chance to watch director Kitao Sakurai's "Bad Trip" movie, then do so.
I found it to be a funny movie and I had some pretty good and genuine laughs throughout the course of the movie, especially the gorilla scene.
I am rating "Bad Trip" a six out of ten stars.

Wow, that was really good movie. I can't understand why it's so underrated tho. It deserves at least to have 7/10. Acting was on point, it reminded me of Borat, Bad Grandpa and Jackass movies. I can't remember when last time I laughed so many times. Those awkwards moments made this film even better. For me, it's the best comedy of 2020, hands down.
