Yes, this is happening. Alex Zamm directs this live-action/CGI film wrapped around that once very popular character created by Walter Lantz...Woody Woodpecker. A big city lawyer Lance Walters (Timothy Omundson) comes across as a self-centered con artist that wants to tear down a piece of the forest to build a dream home. Not for him and his uppity girlfriend Brittany (Thaila Ayala) to live in; but to flip it for a fortune. Walters also is trying to bond with his estranged son (Graham Verchere).

The red-headed Woody is going to become a nightmare when the amusing fights for territory begin. Taking down Woody's home is not going to be cheap. There seems to be an amateur look to the animation. Question: how is it that Woody can soar from place to place without flapping his wings? Nostalgia usually feels better than this. The voice of Woody Woodpecker belongs to Eric Bauza. Others in the cast: Chelsea Miller, Jordana Largy, Emily Holmes and Scott McNeil.

From the start Woody is a very annoying bird. His antics and behaviour is over the top. You can't feel bad for him despite understanding that he wants to protect his habitat.

The Dad is kind of dumb because he can't put woodpecker and wood together after many bills of damage. He keeps using wood to build in the same spot despite being unable to stop or get rid of the bird. This works very well in the cartoon world but in live action its nonsensical

To conclude its a very weak movie. I didn't know about it until a few weeks ago and thought i'd give it a shot.

Hahahahahaaha. Laugh, stupid children. Laugh at the lazy bathroom humor while your parents neglect you.
