First I will note I'm a huge found footage fan and this is definitely in the worst found footage movies I've ever seen bottom three the story sucks bottom line if your story sucks you just have a bunch of nerds running around the woods with cameras yelling a lot definitely do not bother on this joint it's terrible.

Stumbled across this while on a found footage binge and decided to give it a go. given that i remember the night the jets went ultra sonic over the north of England i thought this would be interesting. unfortunately i found this very hard to sit through.

very early on there is no real context of who people are or what there connection is to each other, and at times it was hard to hear them due to background noise. It truly became a chore to watch this through until the end. i was hoping and praying that two of the main characters (Dom + Tasha) were going to die Thankfully this came to fruition at about the half way mark to which i did shout "hooray" gleefully at that point. there sub par acting is a double edge sword, as although the acting is bad its good that they make you hate these characters to the degree you actually want them to die. so props to them for that. Some of the practical effects were abysmal Especially in the last 5 minutes i have seen better at my daughters school play.

The one and only ray of hope in this is the character Ferrall played by Rhian Williams. Ferral is Autistic. At first this is an after thought you wouldn't realize this you'd just think she was a bit odd, that is until its specifically mentioned nearing the "climax" of the film and i use the term loosely. she gives a genuinely good performance as someone who suffers with autism. I have to say though i didn't hate the film, i just thought it was meh, it played with some interesting real world themes and lore but is boring. Nothing ever really happens you keep waiting and waiting but it just falls flat even the final "reveal"? was just an "ah ok then" moment.
