"Our Little Secret"

A young Harvard graduate named Holden returns home to his father and discovers that his dad has married a woman young enough to be Holden's sister, not his new mother. Holden and Lana have a steamy affair, but the father, who is described by his son as "a selfish, cruel man" senses that his young wife has been unfaithful. Then, the father is brutally murdered.

In a revealing scene early in the film, Holden blunders into the upstairs bathroom as his first introduction to the new wife. Lana then tells Holden that the strange encounter will be "our little secret." As it turns out there will be many deeper, darker secrets to follow. The final stretch of the film was especially engaging, due to the completely unanticipated plot twists.

"Wicked Minds" is a clever "who dunnit?" that keeps the audience on its toes. An attorney friend of the deceased father candidly observes that "the Harvard boy is not too smart." But a Harvard graduate should never be underestimated. Young Holden, if not smart, is most assuredly cunning and imaginative.

Among the leading roles, "Wicked Minds" does not have a genuinely sympathetic character. But in a nice touch by the screenwriter, there was a truly dear family cook named Madeline, who brought some much needed decency to a film with a set of truly wicked minds.

Greed and envy is what kills many wealthy people

I was not sure what to think of the recent Harvard graduate Holden Price (Andrew W. Walker) when he came home to visit his multi-millionaire father, Mason Price (Winston Rekert),but just quick as the few bucks I have disappear from my pocket, even quicker does young Holden fall prey to his fathers abusive ways once again. To comfort Holden is his new stepmom, the much younger redheaded Lana (Angie Everhart) who quickly bond and are sympathetic with one another's plight as they struggle with each of their personal relationships with Mason Price.

Mason is a multi millionaire who likes to control both his son and his much younger bride. When Holden comes home one night and finds his father dead cold on the floor he calls the police and quickly becomes the police's prime suspect.

So we are left to try and solve this murderous puzzle with a number of potential suspects. After some twists and turns we discover who is responsible for the murder of the control freak multi millionaire Mason Price.

The second half of the film influenced me to increase my IMDB rating from a 5 to 6 and the ending was worth waiting for. It's a decent suspense/crime film that you may not see the ending coming. I confess, I was pleasantly surprised by the ending and maybe you will be also.

Good Story, Disappointed Scenery

OK So I saw this movie because Angie Everhart was in it. A lot of others did too. I rented this movie with Unrated on the DVD case. What a bunch of crap! If this movie was unrated, yeah maybe for language or some stupid reason other wise. I mean, for crying out for a good naughty scene. You could have aired this movie on FOX and no one would have thought any different. I've seen better adult scenes on Fastlane, that's how bad this movie dragged you in. So the story, good idea "Needing someone to take the blame." The ending is expected as you will see when you watch Wicked Minds. I do like the movie for the story so I gave it 3 stars, but I actually wanted to see Angie and the movie just didn't come through. Rent this movie for the story, wanna see Angie don't rent this one rent "Bare Witness."
