Exhilarating final fight sequence redeems film.

This overlong Jackie vehicle looks like a DTV flick (of course it WAS a DTV flick, but that's no excuse),has an exposition-heavy script, and some of the action set-pieces (including the car chase) lack energy, but all's forgiven when we get to the last 20 minutes, where we witness one of the most exhilarating fight sequences ever filmed, followed shortly afterwards by (arguably) THE most breathtaking stunt Chan has ever attempted on-screen - and that's saying something! Where is the action

Jackie Chan is an agent on a special mission in South Africa to abduct three scientists but he and some of his team are double crossed and left for dead. Chan manages to survive but gets amnesia. He does not know who he is.

However the people who double crossed are out to kill him, Chan needs to get to find out who was behind the ill fated mission.

Like a lot of Chan films there is a lot of silliness but it does lack action and is not helped by a stupid and incoherent plot.

The last segment involving a fight on top of a building in Amsterdam is very good.

Jackie Chan's Who Am I?

Jackie Chan, acting and directing, pretty much plays himself, at least by first name, but his identity is soon lost after a few minutes. Basically Jackie (Chan, LOL) is some kind of government agent or spy, and on a mission he one day accidentally crashes near a tribe village. He can not remember who he is, so everyone in this tribe refers to him as Who Am I. By the way, he does speak English, but for some reason he doesn't speak to many strangers properly, at first. Anyway, people that know he is alive are now trying to kill him, so obviously his crash wasn't an accident. A great martial arts action comedy with some excellent stunts that Chan performs, including one where he runs down the side of a not too steep near horizontal building. Jackie Chan was number 41 on The 100 Greatest Movie Stars. Very good!
