Plot summary

Bent Arrow, West Texas. Stuck in a dusty, fading old town, precocious Cotton does her best to care for her ailing alcoholic mother. Then, Cotton's big sister Sunny returns to her hometown, utterly unaware that the untimely loss of a dear one leads to unexpected responsibilities and a challenging transition. Indeed, until now, Cotton was counting on Butch, her compassionate ex-football player neighbour, for support. However, things are not the same anymore. As Sunny struggles to get back on track, life's unforeseen complications and the exhilarating power of love will soon pave the way for change. Can forgiveness heal the wounds of the past?
