In UD3 Boyka (Scott Adkins) is a broken shell of himself to start. His knee hasn't fully recovered from the blow it took from George Chambers (Michael Jai White) in part 2, but he's not going to let that stop him. He entered the prison fighting championship and he was determined to win, if only to prove that he is the most complete fighter in the world. He would have to defeat three contenders in the eight man tournament to prove it though. Among them are Turbo (Mykel Jenkins) the American much in the mold of George Chambers and Raul Quinones (Mark Zaror) the juiced up Colombian.
UD3 stays true to its roots even if the fights are more acrobatic, hence more unrealistic. Not only would fighters not be performing such flips and stunts in a real fight, if they did they'd soon show signs of fatigue from using so much extra energy. But if we forgive the creative license taken by the director this was a solid movie.

Still has the flare to be a good fighting franchise
Although I didn't like the first movie, after watching part 2 I thought this franchise might have potential. Yuri Boyka(Scott Adkins) who was the main villain in the second movie is back and this time he is the main character. Unlike the previous movie, this time it's more like a tournament where bunch of convicts must fight each other in the ring and be the winner in order to get freedom. The losers are however eliminated from the tournament. I really liked how Yuri Boyka's amazing fighting skills and choreography is more explored in this one. In fact this movie sort of does make Boyka seem like the most complete fighter in the world. People who seen the previous Undisputed movies know that this franchise is about fighting and you will get good amounts of it and pretty good ones at that. So if you want action you will most definitely get satisfying amounts of it in this one. For a B-movie most people won't be expecting much from it, I wasn't expecting much either but got almost all I wanted out of this type of movie. For anyone who is into fighting movies should check this one out. If there is ever a 4th installment, I will most definitely make sure to see it.

Only gonna say this once
One of the three most entertaining martial arts movies of all time. Other two are WARRIOR and FORBIDDEN KINGDOM.
