Is this a joke or what?

Oh my God, I did not know that Indie film industry could still produce such garbage? I got so bored that I could not prevent myself to use the fast forward button...It is absolutely unbearable, silly, I don't find the words to describe this garbage junk. It could at least have been saved by a good ending, but no, this is even more predictable. So awful...I did not get out alive from this crap.

Better than a lot of indies

A low budget indie action/horror from Britain, TRIBAL: GET OUT ALIVE is a lot more enjoyable than most of the competition and that's down to the efforts of the director in making a slick, action-focused piece of work. His inspirations are obvious here and his light touch works in the many fight scenes, which are well choreographed and reasonably exciting throughout. The rest is limited by the usual budgetary constraints, from poor acting from the supporting players to join-the-dots plotting, but for a film where the main story consists of two bailiffs beating up experimental zombie-style humans it's not half bad.

We're not policemen. We're bailiffs.

The film opens with a riot at Kennig Farm. A policeman gets killed. We are then introduced to our two protagonist bailiffs. Caitlin (Zara Phythian) is a PTSD veteran who has moments of adrenaline rage. Brad (Ross O'Hennessy ) served with her and "has her back." They are assigned an easy task. They are to go out to the Kennig Farm and secure the place from the homeless. Richard (Thomas Dodd) inherited the place from his father. He is not a likable character.

The first thing you notice is the opening credits are littered with Dodds. Toni Dodd is not Tony Todd to my disappointment. While the film looks professional at 22 minutes into the feature there is a shadow of a person holding a paper (script?) I don't think it was part of the film. And where did they get all those machetes?

This is your basic type of mutant cannibal family type of film with a slight twist. Out heroes are military trained so they have to fight faster and stronger humans. Everyone knows green fluorescent liquid creates zombies.

Guide: F-word. No sex or nudity.
