TRAILER PARK OF TERROR is an astonishingly bad B-movie horror flick that feels like a cheap rip-off of the work put out by Rob Zombie. This trashy movie sees a bunch of dumb characters heading into a trailer park filled with even dumber characters. Eventually they all get taken prisoner by a bunch of undead demons, who are merely bad actors wearing rubber masks. Plenty of torture and gratuity ensues, all playing out without the slightest wit or interest. The disappointing cast's sole redeeming feature is the underrated Lew Temple, of THE WALKING DEAD fame, but the rest of the no-hopers make no impact, and nor does the film.

Plot summary
Based on the Imperium Comics series, Trailer Park of Terror. Six troubled high school students and their chaperon, an optimistic youth ministries Pastor, return from an outdoor character building retreat in the mountains. During a raging storm, their bus crashes, hopelessly stranding them in the middle of the Trucker's Triangle, a forgotten locus of consummate evil in the middle of nowhere. The hapless group seeks shelter for the night in a seemingly abandoned trailer park they find down the road. However, when the sun sets, it's not refuge they find. Instead, terror finds them in the form of Norma, a damned redneck reaper with a killer body who dispenses vengeance and death aided by her cursed companions, a bloodthirsty brood of Undead trailer trash.

Evil is coming and it is smelling strong
The film opens by letting us know this is an homage to "2,000 Maniacs." It then sets up the Tophet Trailer Park. Tophet is a term for hell. The place is destroyed in a fire after a shooting but comes alive at night for stranded travelers. A group of misfits holds up here as they fight for their lives against hell's dead.
The DVD has a rated and unrated version. I watched the unrated. It was pretty standard killing fare, but the characters made the story.
Guide: F-word. Sex. No nudity.

It delivers on it's premise
Which isn't that much to be honest, but it still is a nice movie to watch. Especially if you like horror movies. It doesn't give you anything new, yes, but it's nicely told (edited) and shot, there are some nice effects in it and it even has some funny characters. That should indicate that it's not a straight horror movie then, so if you like your horror straight and absolutely derived of any "funny", than this isn't for you ...
If, on the other hand, you don't mind a bit of (crude) humor, you will like this movie. Again, maybe not love, but at least like. The decision is yours now ...
