A fantastic masterpiece full of beautiful images and powerful symbolism!

An absolutely brilliant and nightmarish production! "Unforgotten Shadows" is an enriching and surreal experience, full of beautiful images and powerful symbolism.

Valanchik (Dmitriy Stupka). Typical teenager finds himself in a state of shock, because he and all his friends plumped in a big nightmarish trouble. Then...reality sinks in. He discovers an appalling revelation which he cannot accept. How does all of this fit in when he thought of himself as a completely sane person? He does not believe he was responsible for this affair.

This is just scratching the surface of the premise for Lubomir Levitski moody and engaging film. "Unforgotten Shadows" is a very vivid film with an original concept. As the story expands and the main character must go into the heart of the matter. This film relies a lot on imagery and the fantastic production values are laced with a perplexing storyline that keeps the viewer's eyes glued to the screen.

And really allows for character development as well. The audiences grows greatly in a moment of eagerness as they want to determine what will happen next to the characters in this film. The cast is really wonderful. Dmitriy Stupka is excellent as Valanchik, Pavlo Li is a very talented and really courage actor, Vlad Nikityuk really extraordinary talented person.

A thoroughly cogent flick which keeps you guessing what is going on. "Unforgotten Shadows" is a fine treat for the eyes and mind. This is one journey where you reach the point of no return!

Fine entertainment, like Levitsky's Lombard also: a hour and half trip with your beloved one to a magical world.

Made it at last to " Shadows of unforgotten ancestors exit was like back to vicious world: oops, magic is gone and there is neither summer, nor Carpathians ;-) This is actually the most important thing for what it is worth to go to a theater: a hour and half trip to fantasy world. Too bad it was not in 3D for the stunning special effects and sound. The only thing funny at first were formulaic phrases from teen cinema performed by good actors , not translators ;-) I wish Lubomir can collect the cost of production back with profit, but it was officially acknowledged that it does not matter since Euromaidan took the target audience out to streets. Say hello to high-quality Ukrainian film-making!

Wonderful movie

This movie is one of the greatest i have ever seen! Here you can see unforgotten unique Ukrainian traditions, beautiful nature of Ukraine, picturesque places, extreme feelings and adventure, the plot is interesting and is very close to different legends of Ukraine! There you can see a story that begins years and years ago and continues up to our days. What is really interesting - it is widely believed that this story is true, as still in Ukraine there are people who have power in front of nature and nothing has changed, there are bad spirits as well as good spirits in the Carpathian Mountains. So when i first saw this movie i thought: "Oh, it might be true as well, and such stories happen, it is just a part of Ukrainian history and believes". This movie is a prototype of one Ukrainian book named "Forgotten Shadows", written in the 19th century. But with a movie we want to shaw that our traditions are not forgotten and their mystical shadows are all around us.
