the best hulk hogan movie

this truly the best movie that hogan has ever been in.after seeing his other movies where he was a nice guy.its a shock to hear him say some very unhogan like words.it was cool to see him kill a dozen or so people with guns and explosives.and carl marotte is perfect as his partner and the comic relief.get this there is only 2 explosions which is rare for an action flick.he also acts very human like in that he lets his emotions get the best of him when he goes after the guy who tried to rape his daughter.this movie does not have the best plot.but its better than santa with muscles but then again any movie is better than that one.i suggest you see this one if you are lover of action flicks or a hulkamaniac

Derivative

Just a cheapo action flick with Hulk Hogan, all muscle and no sense here. He plays a guy who finds out his comrades are baddies, so he takes the fight directly to them, but in the process finds himself and his dearest ones in the gun sights. Anyone looking for big COMMANDO-style action will be disappointed because the low budget precludes much of that; what plays out is all strictly ordinary and very derivative.

Just about passable

First of all, don't be fooled by the DVD cover into thinking that this film has lots of commando-in-exotic-jungle type of action, it has some of that at the beginning but the rest of it is set at the city - and at a ranch! Hulk Hogan's acting is as flat as ever, and he doesn't even perform some of the hardest action scenes (when he's supposed to be climbing a wall, all we see are a couple of close-ups, then he's up),but somehow he remains watchable (just like the film itself). The supporting cast is largely unknown (to me, at least),but agreeable enough, especially Daniel Pilon as the slimy villain and Cyndy Preston as Hulk's beautiful and spunky daughter. Not too much else to say here, when you sit down to watch a Hogan action film you should pretty much know what to expect, although this one is a step below his "Assault on Devil's Island". ** out of 4.
