"The Layover" was a fast-paced "road show" comedy with good chemistry between the two lead actors playing Meg and Kate, who are roommates and lifelong friends. The narrative takes them from Seattle to Florida, where they hope to escape from having apparently failed in their careers as a high school teacher and a cosmetics distributor.

On the flight, there is a detour, due to a hurricane in Florida. The roommates land in St. Louis after meeting on the plane a charming but rather vacuous hulk named Ryan. The plot unfolds as a competition that turns into a catfight as the roommates vie for the affection of Ryan.

The best scenes in the film are those of broad comedy. They include a trip on the hot air balloon over St. Louis in which everything goes wrong. There is also a food fight in a restaurant that culminates in the roommates nearly being arrested.

The roommates are stunned to learn that Ryan is not traveling to Florida to attend a wedding, but to be married himself. Finally, the romantic story is resolved when the weary travelers confront Ryan and his bride at the wedding party. Through it all, Kate and Meg learn a little more about themselves and the their flaws in their silly and, at times, compulsive behavior.

While "The Layover" is an inconsequential piece of fluff, the film is nonetheless entertaining and includes high octane performances from the two leads, Kate Upton and Alexandra D'Addario. Kate and Meg are both rather nondescript characters when they are alone. But when they are together, their synergy makes them a force of nature and an immovable object for whoever crosses their path.

The Layover is an R-rated comedy starring Kate Upton and Alexandra Daddrio. The film has its moments but it's clear from its trailers what to expect. Being largely panned from critics, one should have low expectations when watching. At most, the Layover, the film feels like a teenage sitcom or something in which twins Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen have done in their time back then.

The comedy isn't too forced but it really isn't funny in many ways. Predictable and television type humor. The film isn't too long which passes time quickly, though other than most there is some entertainment watching both leads interact with one another. It's a light hearted comedy, perhaps some critics are being too harsh. It's what to expect.

With Kate Upton vs. Alexandra Daddario, we can't loose!

So Upton and Daddario play two best friends (Despite their personality differences) who decide to go after the same man when a layover gets them stuck in St. Louis.

It was a good role reversal (Cause usually it's too dudes who would treat another person like meat in this matter). It really did make the comedy refreshing, and I did like what the overall lesson of the movie turned out to be. It was an old plot line in need of this new perspective, and William H Macy as the director really did just that.

I've always had a thing for Alexandra Daddario since I saw her in those Percy Jackson movies, but I have to say, Kate Upton won this battle. The model turned actress was obviously hired to put the sex in this sex comedy, or at least that's what they want you to think. Every scene she was in had me rolling on the floor. I had some good laughs watching her own the screen. Way better than her turn in the comedy,  The Other Woman. Daddario was good for a few giggles (And one amazing sex scene that was both steaming hot and absolutely hilarious),but nothing had me Laughing out Loud like Upton. I'm not going to lie, I was surprised and impressed by the talent.

Too hot and too funny. I could watch this over and over again.
