This is a kids movie. My 10yo has loved watching it on Netflix and wanted me to buy it. End of. If you're an adult reviewing this movie for yourself, take a hike.

Great for kids
Dumb but cute
Just because it's for kids doesn't mean it needs to be stupid...
For instance: "oh no, we're stuck on that ship and there's nothing we can do, we need to deliver a message, let's eject a bottle with the message in it and it will land where we need!" 2 minutes later: "oh no, the ship is sinking now!" "well, don't worry, I have a dragon who will help us out of it"
Wait, where was your dragon like 2 minutes ago instead of that message in a bottle silly thing?
My 5-yo liked it, and it's cute (despite pretty poor graphics),so I guess it's good for the target audience; but damn!
Elephants and cats oh my! And giant pears too?
Straight out of Denmark, and enchanting tale if intrigue and adventure, all starting with a message in a bottle. How fun is this Alfred, (my dear nephew) Natascha Mortensen and Elizabeth Mary Mortensen. This tale starts off a bit juvenile and immature, but I think that is due to translation dubs. If you'll give it five minutes, you'll be as enthralled as I and love this tale too. A young boy, anthropomorphically portrayed as a yellow cat with his anthropomorphically shown grey elephant portrayed as his buddy. As the story progresses the adventure begins! Enjoy and as always, put on your life preserver when riding a boat with the guys! Cheers, Murf
