When I started watching this movie I thought it was a little strange that the lead who died was telling her own story. I thought how? I kept watching as I was curious and intrigued as to how it was written. I sense a lot of misconception from other viewers just by reading some of the reviews. This movie is about a woman who needed help. She was suffering from depression that she used alcohol, sex and drugs to get her through. She had no self esteem and could not see her self worth. No one understood or saw what was happening to her or what she was going through. It is actually a sad movie. I felt sorry for her. She seemed like a nice person and fun person to be with. She just didn't have true friends. The actress that played Julia was awesome. She portrayed the role well and it took me to her journey. It's a good movie!

I have never head about Julia Law and stumbled on the film on Netflix. I'm shocked at the low rating as I thought it was a great film, Caitlin gave a great performance and insight on how Julia must have felt in the hours leading up to her death. We have all been lonely, felt unworthy and depressed so I really could understand Julia and her depression. She longed for love and the only way she felt wanted was through sex, my heart breaks for her family and friends as this was a woman who needed help, the men she was dating should have paid for her rehab after all they were cheating on their wives and had money. This young woman was begging for help and no one saw it... or if they did they looked away. Poor thing. Caitlin played this role so well and respectful of Julia.

First let me start by saying it's a great movie. The bad reviews are very undeserving. I think that those who didn't like the movie were expecting a different kind of movie so let me set you expectations right. This is not a big budget Hollywood movie. It's a movie based on a true story about a young woman who was found dead three days before her 27th birthday. The movie is told by the woman herself. She is telling the viewers about the events leading up to her death. The big thing you need to know here is this: even though you spend the entire movie wondering who killed her, this is not your typical whodunnit kind of a movie. It's not about catching the killer, it's about the woman and the people around here. It's about human behavior. It's basically a sort of a cautionary tale. Watch this movie with an open mind and chances are you gonna love it. I know I did.
