I found The Funeral Home on Tubi and started watching it more out of curiosity. You can find the occasional gem as well as a lot of terrible movies. The Funeral Home is one of the better ones. It is well acted and the cinematography is excellent. So many films have terrible production values that can ruin a movie even if the acting and story is good. That is not the case here. The dialogue was a little uneven at times, but that could have been due to it being the English dubbed version. As horror movies go, this is one of the better ones..

Plot summary
Bernardo is an undertaker. He runs his mortuary business in the same house where he resides. In the front he has his clients. And in the back, his dysfunctional family lives among coffins, wreaths and mischievous supernatural entities that visit on a daily basis. They attribute the paranormal manifestations to the dead bodies from their mortuary work. Find the real source of all this madness will be their quest, but they might find a terrifying truth.

The opening scene is a porta potty with a chicken wandering around. I gave it a 4 just for that alone. I laughed out loud!
