I would have rated the film an extra 1/2* had it ended when the sadistic killer got what was coming to him.
Interesting story where a District Attorney has to leave her job after nearly being choked in court by the guy she was able to convince a jury had killed seven women.
Our D.A. goes to N.Y. to become a therapist. Amazing all the degrees she has.
Based on a DNA irregularity, our killer is released and heads to N.Y. to commit more mayhem and get even with the prosecutor.
As her patients become victims, the police suspect her and she is eventually arrested. It's hard to fathom that a bulletin wasn't put out when our killer left Atlanta after being released, but told to stay in waiting for a new trial.
After all is said and done, we learn of another agenda that our eager defense attorney had. Just when you finally think that matters have been resolved, our killer, who was wounded, escapes from the hospital and is on the loose again.
The plot is overdrawn.
Plot summary
Hailey Read has been a Manhattan based therapist for two years. She left her previous job, as an assistant DA with a perfect conviction rate in Atlanta, largely because of her last case. In it, Curtis Burrell Cruise, a failed artist, was convicted as the serial murderer who killed seven women, all strangled and posed post-mortem to resemble famous paintings. Upon the guilty verdict announcement, Cruise tried to strangle Hailey in the courtroom, an event which still haunts her and for which she is still taking anti-anxiety prescription medication. She is hoping that the memory of Cruise will soon dissipate with his imminent execution within the month. However, her anxiety increases when a series of murders begin to occur in New York that resemble the M.O. of Cruise and that have other personal connections to her. She eventually learns through second-hand sources that Cruise is only no longer on death row but was quietly released a few days ago pending a retrial. She is certain Cruise is the perpetrator of these new murders and is working his way to her. Through the process, Hailey, using both her skills as a therapist and lawyer, may discover other behind-the-scenes forces working against her.

11th Victim-Enough is Enough, Already ***
Total Schmutz. This is a must NOT see film
Forgive me but it was very late and I could not sleep so I stayed up for The Eleventh Victim (which I had taped earlier) and the story line was the most ridiculous and not plausible from the opening scene to the very end. This is supposed to be a suspense film surrounding a serial killer named Clint Burrel Cruise (played by Colin Cunnigham) who captures his female victims, strangles them and then poses their dead bodies in a certain position so that he can paint them on canvas and imitate famous artists by striking a similar pose as the renowned artists works of art.
There is dramatic opera style music throughout the film which was intended to keep the audience in suspense but all it did for me was indicate when something boring and predictable would happen. Of course there is a brilliant and beautiful prosecuting attorney named Hailey Dean (played by Jenny Garth) who puts this serial killer in prison awaiting his death sentence but as the writers of this mess of a made for TV movie would have it the serial killer Cruise is released for a retrial and is free to continue on his murderous ways. There is an ever so slight comparison to the 1986 film Manhunter where the serial killer gets naked down to his skivvies to paint his own body on the canvas just to show how creepy he is but please gag me with a spoon it is by no means suspenseful.
This movie is as predictable as ordering hot buttered popcorn and doing a blind taste test. Who wouldn't know what that taste was? Well in this film, everyone can figure out what is going to happen next. The twist at the end of the film? Gag me with a spoon the second time please.
Don't waste any time on this serial killer film. Instead put a blind fold around your head and try doing the hot buttered popcorn taste test. I assure you that you will have a better time than watching this crap.
My rating is a 1 out of 10. It's a total waste of time.
The perfect storm of awful
If Andy Warhol was still alive making intentionally awful movies he'd make this one. Script and executive production by Nancy Grace. Stars Ron Artest and Jenny Garth. Jenny plays a...hold on.....a dumb blonde ex DA who got a serial rapist murderer convicted of 7 or 8 murders and put on death row. But because someone littered once, a random judge grants him a new trial and releases him without bail. He tells his lawyer he's going to kill the DA and lawyer shrugs. So he goes on a psycho killing rampage. The ex DA is now a psychiatrist or something. Maybr she's a man hating 'host'on HLN like Nancy Grace. Not sure. Anyway blondy is blonde, the cops are dumb guidos and psycho killer guy is slightly more violent and crazy than Hannibal Lecter. Maybe Ron Artest will box him like he's in the NBA. By the end I'm sure blondy will defeat evil shr os woman hear her roar. It's not a movie it's a Lifetime Movie.
