It's a clever imitation, especially the voice which he has down pretty well. But otherwise it's pretty clear that this isn't the Chris Rock we all came to love. This guy is filled with long boring stories about his life with one laugh every 4 or 5 minutes, and it's just a laugh, not a belly laugh. It all seems filled with anger and disappointment, and not the usual keen observations we've come to love.

That being said, I would hire this guy to do a birthday party because he's a really good imitation. Maybe if I helped write the jokes he'd give a good show. Even better,m he should just take some of Chris' old stuff and use that.

Chris Rock is not catching up with the times as much as the other comedians are. Plus, I felt like white kids that I have in my family and who did nothing wrong were threatened by this bitter old bully that needs divorce money. I am not surprised that he got divorced. I would not be able to live with this person or have him near my close beloved people. After meeting with the Obamas, this guy changed for the worst in my opinion. I don't even know if counselling, getting away from the Obamas, and such would work for him. All I do know is that I found myself not laughing the entire time I watch Chris Rock: Tamborine and actually stopped watching it midway. Chris Rock, if you are reading this, I am praying for you to stop copying people's work, get some help, and maybe come back again. If not, then I am sorry to inform you that I will stop watching you.

Edgy in places, but that's the way he's always been. If you can't handle it, maybe you need to lighten up. Some of it is a tad out of touch, but overall a solid enough set that it's worth checking out as long as you don't have a stick up your butt.
