Two individuals (a male & a female),independently of each other, are released from prison. They both have a hard time getting work. We follow them both as they, well, do nothing. The male visits his dad's very remote isolated cabin & goes to it to think things through. The female, homeless, after breaking into an expensive home, eating & bathing then coincidentally shows up at the same cabin. At this point I'm half asleep. The two have sex (not shown). Part ways - end of story. Yes, there's a subtle obvious message on the human condition that wouldn't make it on a high school literature list. Supposedly the background scenics were a plus, but I found the viewing & landscape myopic & limited - my little corner (Montana, Washington, Idaho, B.C., Alberta) - far more impressive.

Zzzzzzz!
Real people say more
This could have been a 7 or 8 star movie with realistic dialogue, meaning at least trying to simulate normal conversations. The lack of talking seems contrived to create atmosphere. Forced minimalism, in other words.
One unexplained scene could have been a set accident merged into the plot.
In general, movie speech tends to be more stilted and measured than real life, but it becomes hard to watch when subdued to this degree. Save the silent parts for alone times where they belong.
But it's got nice scenery, as others have noted.
Amazing
This is an amazing film made by a young film maker. A must see for all ages!!
