I saw this piece of manure at a premiere in Italy.
This was actually a film, one day some shrink will prove I am right.
That said, it was dull, boring, self indulgent, embarrassingly void, badly acted (horribly in Ambra Angiolini's case, why is she acting anyway? I just wanted her to put a sock in it and go away all the way through) and these are the good sides.
Is there anything more pathetic than comedians who aren't capable of delivering a single mere smile? Why on earth did Anna Galiena, who is a good actress, accept a role in this dough goes beyond me.
Just steer clear, it's pure garbage wearing a crap movie outfit.
In case somebody actually paid Ambra Angiolini he is a complete moron.
Possibly the worst film in the history of film making, including spoof shorts on TV.
Plot summary
Jacopo has a serious problem. He may be a brilliant marriage guidance counselor, but he can never manage to have a steady relationship for more than two weeks. And for good reason: since he was very young, Jacopo has been cursed and brought bad luck to every woman who has fallen in love with him. Really bad luck. Because of this, he has vowed to stay away from women, for their own good. But the moment he lays eyes on Sara at a friend's birthday party, he is smitten. Despite his resistance, the two fall head over heels leading to back-to-back, laugh-out-loud moments of disaster. Sara will quickly learn the consequences of her choice as the limits of her love are put to the test.

Awful wannabe comedy with embarrassing acting
Closer (to home)
No pun intended. If someone wants or says they want to keep you at a distance, that is not something that is a nice thing - on the other hand we have a comedy here and I reckon they needed a title one way or the other. So good enough as any I suppose.
That being said, this is a light hearted funny rom com as some would say/call it. Nothing major, nothing too unpredictable. Just some fun you can have while watching it and the characters and their "adventures" and mishappenings. You should not be easily offended (for religious, moral or other reasons) ... it would take away some of the "fun" (always in the eye of the beholder)
Simple Gentle RomCom
This film is fun and lighthearted. It is a love story and as such all you are required to do is watch the comedy of errors unfold.
Enrico and Ambra are warm and funny, and contrary to the other review which says otherwise, spend the entire film laughing and smiling.
The film is great Friday night stuff, you and your loved one can curl up and enjoy with your popcorn and vino.
It is the story of a couples therapist (enrico) who cannot make love work for himself, until one day he falls instantly in love.
Enrico gives a wonderful relaxed performance which is natural and funny. If you enjoy chick flicks or romcoms then you'll enjoy this, but remember it is Italian, not American or British.
