It's been a while since I saw Transporter, but I think the comparisons are there and can be made. Of course this is a slick piece of ... action and it is also quite funny. The Jesus and Moses quote is something that will get a laugh out of you. At least - and there are other bangers too. Also the stunts are off the hook. No pun intended.
Having a female driver also gives this a special touch - and boy is she good. The boy is also really good. The kid actor that is. But don't be fooled, just because there is a boy and a cat in this, it doesn't mean the movie pulls its punches. No sir - quite the opposite we get some really brutal scenes. Even with characters we probably sympathize with ... that's why this will keep you guessing until the end. And probably way after that - especially because of that scene ... how do you break free from that, right? Whatever that means and you will only know once you've seen the movie.
Korean cinema shows us once again, that is able to rival Hollywood ... in more than one sense.
Plot summary
"I deliver everything that the post office service does not handle." Eun-ha, who is a normal junkyard employee, secretly works as a delivery clerk that deals with unusual delivery requests. One day, Eun-ha heads to Seoul to pick up a client who is involved in a gambling crime that wants to flee overseas. However, Eun-ha meets the client's young son at the pick-up point, instead of the client himself. Kyeong-pil, a current police officer who is actually masterminding the whole gambling crime, chases after the missing child who has the security key to the bank account that holds 30 million dollars. After a long pursuit from Seoul to Busan, Eun-ha fights against the police to protect the child.

Entertaining
That's the Korean movies i like. Action packed with some comedy. The main plot is predictable and it's been visited countless of times. However, anyone watching this is not here for an original story. The movie is just fun to watch. Park So-Dam is really good in this action movie. I rarely see her doing this kind of film. The little kid can be annoying at time but that's what the scenario is calling for.
Get some pop corn ready, you will enjoy it! Worth watching.
High-paced action, entertaining and well-acting
Korean actions are getting better and better. Special Delivery gives you a very intense action movie with believable storyline and great performances from the actors. Yes, the movie is imperfect such as building up of the chemistry between the driver and the child is a bit too fast and there are some questions on the corrupted cops that leave unanswered but the movie is very much enjoyable. Thumbs up.
