Luv's best film till date, will watch it again n again!

Luv Ranjan is famous for his so called realistic movies on youth like Pyar Ka Punchnama 1,2 and AakashVaani. This time he has taken a challenge, to show us the fight between girl vs friend!

Sonu (Kartik Aaryan) is a best friend of Titu (Sunny Singh) since school. He has been protective about his friend all the time. After successfully conducted a breakup by Sonu, Titu plans to get settled and finds out Sweety (Nushrat) for arranged marriage. However, Sonu has instincts that she is not the right girl. I am not reviling much, but from trailer it is clear that, it is a fight between boy's best friend or girl. See the film to find out who's won!

Music is cool. Though, there are few songs which personally I didn't like, but they are suitable in the film's mood. Though, there is a song about friendship, sung by Arijit, is extremely good. Also, the performance in that song makes it more delightful.

Sunny Singh has done his part fine. Nushrat is the girl who always hits the note! Her expressions, especially from smile to arrogance and arrogance to smile, are superb. Supportive cast is good.

There are two men in the film, who can make it watchable for couple of times, and they are- Kartik Aaryan and Alok Nath. No one can think even in dream that Alok Nath can deliver local gaalis. The drinking scenes, the kebab scenes, the conversations between Alok and Kartik- these are the scenes which uplift the film on the level it deserves to be. Hat's off to the casting director for making Alokji 'Ghazeete'. For Kartik, I would say that let's declare this man- Sexiest Youngster in India! Also, no one can pull off this role as he has done. He is going to be the next superstar who can act, and will definitely do for a very long time.

Camerawork is superb. Editing is sharp. Locations are beautiful. The film is colorful as well as grand in the scale. Dialogues are to the point and up to the mark. The war of words have been excellently written for both the characters (Sonu and Sweety). Every punch line has its own value, and people are shouting and cheering and clapping onto those lines. The 'Didi ne kaha' scenes were so funny that I am laughing now while writing about them. There was a group in my hall, which went mad in climax, and started cheering and shouting, as the delivery was superb by actors. I really liked The No Monologue climax, instead just few lines with great conviction. It gives strength to us too, as whatsoever happening there, is in the right mood and on the right track.

So, for showing the absolutely Right way through the film, and for the answer of the question, on which the film has been made, I would like to thank Luv Ranjan. This is by far his best film. And would like to watch this again and again.

Go for it guys. You will put it in your all time favorites. I found no objection in the film. It is sharp, quick, quirky, funny, light hearted, original, to the point, genuine, hilarious, and the best from Luv.

Good performances, enjoyable characters, disappointing conclusion

I'm not offering any spoilers, just a comment. I was very disappointed in the ending; I think that it should have turned out differently, no one really had to lose. I'm giving the entire film eight stars because of the performances and the various characters, but I'm not recommending the film because of what happened (or what didn't happen). I realize that this may make people feel that they have to see it just to see what I mean; sorry about that! But if you've seen it, care to weigh in?

Bro-Mance over Ro-Mance!

Directed Luv Ranjan's box-office champion 'Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety' is a smooth watch, that despite its sexist plot & monotonous proceedings, manages to make you laugh for a good part of it.

'Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety' Synopsis: Titu is going to marry a perfect woman named Sweety. Titu's best-friend Sonu doubts Sweety's character and tries to break the marriage while Sweety tries to do opposite and which leads to war between Bromance and Romance.

'Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety' is all about Men, who are the best species out there. And while Women, are flawed, greedy & decisive. Ranjan, who's no alien to sexism in cinema (having delivered hits with Pyaar Ka Punchnama 1 & 2 with the same theme),attacks his wicked leading-ladies against his good-hearted, concerned leading-men. Definitely not a progressive thought, but Ranjan, though guilty of repeating same themes, is a man with a sense of humor, who's joke land well. For most of this film, I found myself laughing or smiling at its risky humour.

Ranjan's Direction is satisfactory, while the Screenplay goes from hilarious to plain mean. Cinematography adds richness to the visuals. Editing is finely done. Music by Various Artists, is foot-tapping.

Performance-Wise: Kartik Aaryan as Sonu, gets to do the heavy-lifting as the concerned hero out to save his best-friend from the doom. Kartik does well here, although his performance resembles his earlier works. Sunny Singh as Titu is the pick of the lot. He has lovely screen-presence & is earnest all through. Nushrat Bharucha as Sweety, the "kebab mein haddi" for the besties, is fine & feisty. But the show belongs to Alok Nath, who's a complete hoot. The Bollywood Legend breaks free from his general on-screen persona of the well-mannered Bapuji, to a drinking, foul-mouthed & free-spirited grandpa. Its a pleasure to watch the actor loosen up & have a ball. Virendra Saxena also scores as Alok Nath's pillar. Ishita Raj Sharma is very cute in a small role. Others lend excellent support.

On the whole, 'Sonu Ki Titu Ki Sweety' will make you laugh, but at the expense, of you feeling guilty.
