Then it might have made more sense. It goes from little details like throwing a small bit of camouflage over just the rifle's scope (why bother?) to breaking the world's best encryption with a field laptop (WTF?). I, too, was waiting for the inflatable boats to be sunk by mini-gun fire from Apache attack helicopters. They must be using a brand-new armor plated rubber. And what's with those bad guys standing on a porch being picked off one by one by the sniper protagonist when there is a door for them to run thru and take cover? Snipers generally work solo, and for good reason - not in squads. Some were in ghillie suits, but most were not.
Sniper: Ghost Shooter is a very light duty action flick to be watched if nothing better is available.

What is missing in this film was a military advisor
Better than the last couple of sequels
GHOST SHOOTER is another film in the prolific SNIPER series of straight to video thrillers. This one was once again shot in Bulgaria and features a sniper team whose job it is to protect a precious gas pipeline from terrorist attack. When they begin to be targeted by an invisible 'ghost shooter', they suspect that one of their own is selling them out. This film features a wealth of low rent action and shooting sequences and a familiar plot. It does the job even if it all feels rather predictable and hackneyed. Cast-wise, Billy Zane plays the gruff team leader while Chad Michael Collins is the wooden protagonist.
We do the stuff he (God) doesn't want to do
This is another story in the life of Gunnery Sgt. Brandon Beckett (Chad Michael Collins) and Richard Miller (Billy Zane). The characters have been introduced in a previous film:"Sniper: Reloaded-2011".
They are part of an elite sniper group. The film starts out in Syria, then Turkey, and finally ends up in Georgia where our team is tasked to protect the building of a gas line to connect Georgia to Ukraine. Beckett suspects the Georgians working with the US are supplying the enemy with co-ordinates due to some recent killings (new people in landing party).
The movie has a lot of sniper style killing. If people looking through a scope and taking the head shot is your kind of film, this is it. Plot is straight forward.
