This movie is really amazing. Out of the 3 Sailor Moon movies this one is definitely the best. The animation is amazing and the story, although only and hour long, keeps changing enough to keep you interested.

You have everything you might want to ask from Sailor Moon, meaning friendship emotions, the titular character acting warmly, selflessly and gently like she's supposed to act, good action and interesting enemies, infinite tears like there is no tomorrow in the final act (this franchise is slowly turning me into a wet blanket iteration after iteration),the only downside I can find of this is the absolutely fugly CGI used for the outer appearance of the planetoid menacing earth but luckily it lasts only a few seconds before disappearing. Amazing, simply amazing. Me thinks I'm completely sold on Sailor Moon for the time being.

Fiore, an old friend from Mamoru's lonely childhood who couldn't survive on Earth, returns with flowers he promised Mamoru. But, the evil flower Kisenian overpowered Fiore's weak mind and manipulated him into spreading Kisenian's seeds over Earth in an effort to drain energy from everyone on Earth. Kisenian manages to do this because he's deceived Fiore using Fiore's long-lost friendship with Mamoru. It is up to Sailor Moon and the Sailor Senshi to stop Kisenian.

I truly enjoyed this film for what it is worth. I found it very emotional and heart warming learning a bit about Mamaru's past. Both dubs did well. I know the old dub changed the music but in version of the old dub I watched it was still there, so I am slightly on what one of the reviewers mention. But of course, recommended one is the Viz dub version if you want to watch it in english.
