I just saw the movie. Its pretty good, for a B movie. Acting of actors may not be rock solid, storyline may not be well planned, but the humor is certainly very good. There are some of the scenes where the humor isn't really funny. But overall, its good. Special effects (very few) are also pretty decent. Some jokes are pretty good. I will not leak anything in this review. All I can say is, certainly see it if there is nothing better to watch. Way better than the teen movies (which are apparently created in a huge quantity these days). Also provides a view of the hospital industry and the various (and strange) lawsuits that people keep filing these days.
Plot summary
Plagued by uninsured patients, greedy insurance companies, heartless health care conglomerates, and stressed out doctors, the health care delivery system is on the verge of a total breakdown - and Jake Gorman couldn't be happier. The egomaniacal medical malpractice attorney has it all. His face adorns billboards, his ads run constantly on TV and radio, while his army of informants tip him off to profitable new cases. Suing doctors has made Jake a famous and very wealthy man. Jake never met a doctor he couldn't sue, until now. As a cost cutting measure at its hospitals, R.I.P Healthcare has developed the perfect doctor. MD 63 (a.k.a. Robo-Doc) is a robotic doctor whose data bank contains all the medical knowledge in the world, and therefore Robo-Doc CAN'T make a mistake. Robo-Doc was designed to save both money and lives. Success would bring flawless, affordable health care to all and spell ruin for Jake Gorman.

Pretty good
bad even for National Lampoon
This could have been politically poignant and relevant, adding an extra layer of unique satire to the comedy. Instead, they totally missed the mark. On both the satire AND the comedy. Most of the jokes fell flat and it just wasn't enough to make it to a passing grade. It's like a bunch of has-beens are trying to make a movie, but they just couldn't get their groove on. Alan Thicke was kind of wooden, Corin Nemic (Parker Lewis) didn't have much going on. David Faustino (Bud Bundy) was good, but his character wasn't funny. They literally got Michael Winslow (Police Academy guy who makes funny sounds) and then only had him make one sound effect.
So the movie just ended up not living up to what it could have been. On any level. This is bad even for a National Lampoon film!
IMPROVING
Certainly this is one of National Lampoon's better efforts here of late. Considering the stupidity they have been coming out with, this stupid movie had a lot more going for it. It has less gratuitous nudity than expected by the cover. It also stars David Faustino's ex-wife (not the babe on the cover.)
