This is what a horrorthrillercomedy shall be like. the plot and story are just nothing when reading the summary , but ring ring, what comes out of the closet, some of the coolest acted, weirdest and unfortunate people in the world crashing head on eachother in a super high of oxycontin vapour . its also a lovestory dedicated to mum, and her income post mortem and her storage of oxycodone, and her sons addiction problems added to his needs for his mum to be there for him, cold as hot aka pre or post mortem on top of that comes a crew of unhappy young adults, who tries to ruin their employer through stealing customers from him, by copying the client lists, using the phonecamera, and on top of that the phone is stolen , yes, by the mugshooting forementioned addict.

its an engaging and thrilling way to tell a story, the twists and outcome are so uncertain. it makes you feel sorry for all the caracters, and the story are litterally nailed into you.

its not a filmatographic marvel, and the soundwork couldve been better, but the float and pace of the action are wild, and unfortunately the whole gem was far too soon over.

so the grumpy old man thinks that the director should make a sequel to this rump because it aint over till its over. have a look , you will be amazed to laugh ,even though its quirky and raw. i give 10 recommendations to ring ring.

Not scary. Not entertaining. And really not good. Just short on everything you want in a movie. Plot, Dialogue. Action... Gore, all necessities for a decent horror film and this really didn't meet up to any of them.

Ring, Ring is a film about some office workers who steal a client list when they are let go from their jobs. The list is on a cellphone that goes missing. They set out to find the cellphone only to be lead to a house that they enter and become locked in by a junkie. Who's gonna make it out? This is the plot.

Let's start with the fact that this is and indie, low budget film. The filming isn't polished and while the actors aren't well seasoned, I've seen worse. The story isn't a bad one but it lacks any real amount of depth, has very little character building and there's no real reason to invest in any of the characters. It makes for a slow watch that isn't very interesting.

So, why 4 stars?

Well, I'd give it 3.5 if I could. I can appreciate the struggle of low budget film and this wasn't an unbearable watch. The actors weren't THAT bad. Some of them, maybe but the three lead characters did a decent enough job. I want to give credit where it is due and like I said, I've seen far worse.

Would I recommend it?

Depends on who asks. If you are a horror fan, you probably will not be satisfied. If you are looking for a serious thriller, you will also be left unsatisfied. If you are looking to kill some time and you can tolerate low budget indies, this might work for you. Everyone else will probably want to skip it.
