Great sci- fi /space adventure movie for the entire family. Adults as well as kids will enjoy this one. Patton Oswalt is perfect as the voice of MEAD and Robert Picardo plays the sinister Admiral Gillette perfectly while adding a bit of his own brand of humor to the character. Great special effects and an awesome soundtrack add to an already great movie! Don't miss this one!
Plot summary
A fugitive starship (MEAD) and a lone passenger (Friz) evade earth forces utilizing their ability to project the passengers' thoughts creating illusions that fool pursuers. But tech is being developed to thwart the outlaws.

We really enjoyed this...
Always looking for interesting movies slightly off the grid. Rented on demand and watched with the fam in our surround sound area. It kept our attention, was really a good find.

First let me just say that Patton Oswalt should never do voice over work again. His raven in The Sandman was truly terrible and his robot here is just as bad. It's as if he can't act when it's just his voice. Yuck.
The movie...low budget with a nonsense script.
Have it on in the background when you're making dinner...in another room.
