Great film. Good and entertaining. Might not be for kids but a must watch . Great performances from the cast and amazing direction as well.

Malang is an action thriller film directed by Mohit Suri and stars Anil Kapoor, Aditya Roy Kapur, Disha Patani, Kunal Khemu and Elli AvrRam with Vatsal Sheth, Makarand Deshpande and Keith Sequeira playing guest roles.

The film is based on the lives of two lovers who met at a rave party and falls in love, however their lives turns upside down when they entangled with police.

After watching this film i understood that Bollywood is very much obsessed with love stories and they can ruin any plot or any script just to focus on love story, though after watching the film you will realize that this film is a revenge drama but instead of focusing on revenge drama major part of the film is wasted on unnecessary love story.

The plot of the film is majorly predictable and we have seen such films in the past, any film with a predictable scoreline can be made into a good film by the execution, now this film has lots of potential, the film has a decent plot, good actors and a proven director. The director should've focused on how the hero prepares himself for the revenge and how he plots for everything but in the film the preparation part is kept very small and major time is wasted unnecessarily on the love story.

The acting is fairly decent, i havn't seen Aditya Roy Kapur doing such a role and he was very much impressive, Anil Kapoor is another name when it comes to talent and he was spot on, Kunal Khemu was surprisingly good and stole all the limelight till the film reaches it's climax, Disha Patani and Elli AvrRam were disappointing and wore almost same face throughout the film.

The screenplay of the film is decent but as mentioned earlier that lots of time is spent of the love story so the viewers might get little disconnected with the film, the viewers who came specifically for action will surely get disappointed, music is decent. Climax of the film has a few twists which may surprise and excites viewers and may not. In my opinion now it's high time that the Bollywood should now come out of the obsession from love stories and start focusing on the plot.

Kunal Khemu shines in Malang (Loco),a revenge drama lined with cheesy romance and philosophy that takes itself far too seriously for its own mistakes, one of which is the terrible performance of Disha Patani and an overall loose screenplay. TN.
