Women are awful people. That's pretty much the only thought that comes to mind after watching this which is strange since it was directed by a woman. Anyways it's watchable. Some decent dialogue while the horny star lead jumps into one bed after the other.
Plot summary
Rosemary is an aspiring painter who moves to Venice Beach at the encouragement of gallery owner Jack, whom she met long ago. When she arrives on his gallery doorstep, Jack has a vague recollection of who she is. Alone in Los Angeles's Westside, Rosemary's only friend is Leo, who lets her stay with him in what appears to be the floor of a rather odd commune. She dyes pink streaks in her hair, and boom. She's now at her new home. She meets the handsome Tom and as pretty people in LA do, they immediately hook up and...wish each other a good life. Creeped out by her strange flatmates, Leo takes her to his latest gig as the most popular Bar Mitzvah DJ in Los Angeles. As fate would have it, Tom is the co-owner of Jack's gallery, and to her delight, the two will now work together. The deal is, as long as she gets gallery work done first, she's free to be artistic on her own time in hopes of being part of the gallery. Finding renewed inspiration, our heroine begins to sketch and paint, but after an incident of sexual harassment by one of Leo's roommates, she moves in with Tom, and the two become a thing.

One conclusion from the movie
Minoff is a genius
Terry Minoff wrote it, directed, and is the main character. Her best friend is Billy Brown. She is a painter who gets her art in a gallery in Venice, California.
She does an abstract painting of herself. When Tom, boyfriend and fiance, asked her what part of herself was the painting. She answers you. So Tom is a part of herself. I agree. When we are intimate with someone, they will always be part of us. Everyone we have ever known like or dislike is a part of us. Even more astounding is that our cells have memory of people who have been in our lives. Physically our cells recall a person from years back. I had my back to someone I had known intimately 40 years before. With my back to him my body started buzzing with knowledge of someone I had known. Before my eyes saw him my body knew him. So Minoff is right that he is a part of her that will never go away. Her cells will remember him. Our cells remember so they are part of us forever. Astounding. I loved this film. Minoff is inspiring.
low budget .. hippie love movie..
Somehow kinda good movie, with some decent performance...
plot is also not that strong but its simple . a painter is new in town looking to start a new life ? . stays with hippie friends who are engaged in orgies or spiritual indian crap. then she found a place to work , and she bangs the owner and start to living with him because she doesnt have place .
then both starting have feeling to each other, until they both got serious and then tragedy hit them when her good friend told her that she was unfaithful n cheater in past (this point movie become stupid because it didnt mention that how was her past about cheating and why she was soo different or distant about loving the guy in start ).
but anyhow.. in the end.. its like happy ending..
