This movie was eye opening experience and very enjoyable. This movie taught me never to take out my anger on other and when feeling mad and upset to take a breather and reset.

This movie was eye opening experience and very enjoyable. This movie taught me never to take out my anger on other and when feeling mad and upset to take a breather and reset. The all actors and actresses were truly amazing. Especially Makena T. This movie was worth watching and buying. I will for sure to be watching this over and over again. I highly recommend buying it on Amazon and watching it.

Last the Night is in good company with other 80s throwback vehicles of today. At the same time a meditative examination of gun violence in America, (the first shot of the film is that of a history teacher in front of a massive American flag) as it is an excellent portrayal (thanks to its excellent cast) of nihilist high-school malaise. Upon second viewing, I totally got a De Laurentiis vibe (Maximum Overdrive, anyone?) and even some vestiges of Hammer-horror from it. Mix in a bit of Friday The 13th sans the supernatural, and you have a killer, thought-provoking look at mental illness in the age of Covid.
