It's hard to understand why you'd attempt to make a horror film if you really didn't even try to make something worthwhile. Why bother? You know the legitimate reviews are going to be bad. You know all the positive ones will be from associates. You know you're going to lose money and you're going to have a turkey on your resume.

As a viewer, I don't buy the "low-budget" excuse...I've seen loads of financially challenged films that are original and excellent.

A running time of exactly 1:17:59, of which the last 5:34 are credits. Barely qualifies as a feature, but I do appreciate not holding the audience captive for an excessive amount of time.

Single location shoot - a house in the suburbs. A possession and an Evil Dead type book with a ritual. Nice. I can live with all that - but you didn't even try to make it interesting. Using an iPhone camera didn't help (okay, kidding),but the amateur digital filming here is one step above public television. It doesn't have to be 70mm quality, but the aesthetic achieved is horrible.

The payoff, for what it is, doesn't come until the 50 minute mark, and by the time you get there, you won't care...banging on locked doors, and yelling...all filmed (I mean, recorded) in the dark.

I do feel bad for actress Amy Carlson, who had a nice comfy TV gig on Blue Bloods...not sure why she left that great show to end up in this muck is sad.

No Fear indeed. Avoid.

Loved the director (Jamison) setting up the scenes so the suspense keeps building up and up and up....... The opening scene is blazingly drop your jaw scary. You think why that in the opening scene. It sets the stage for the nail biting finish. Loved the film. Don't miss it. It's thrilling and I usually don't watch horror films. The crew behind did a great job . I would amiss if I didn't commend Adam for music that he created to set up each scene, wonderful. I have worked with all the crew shooting five films with them (Most of which have won a number perstigious awards)They are very organized, creative and a hard working bunch of guys. I think they found a wonderful platform to grow and develop their craft.
