I Love this Semi Remake this what i wanted to see (spoilers)

*** Review contains spoilers***

I Total Understand this movie didn't get great rating for this movie or Some of other fans of original kick boxer fans are disappointed of Reboot but it's similar to original but it goes on the different Direction of movie something you won't expect like I mean when i say It's different direction not just because it's modern and new movie Reboot the plot takes same thing in start but later on its Kurt going After Tong Po that's what the same thing is but rest of plot is Different besides Kurt Revenge same of plot of movie rest it goes on Its own. I loved original movie so much it was fantastic and jean Claude Van Damme is great its like Stallone was training boxing in rocky in Creed (2015 he trains Apollo creed son, Xian Chain trains Kurt Van Damme Character now it's Van Damme to be teacher train to train Kurt

It's different and plot starts off Kurt Sloane (Alain Moussi) is the Younger brother of older brother Eric Sloane (Darren Shahlavi) won the Fight is World Karate Championship at a Celebratory event at the Sloan Gym. Marcia (Gina Carano) is a dealer for fight promoter but she is a Crook making dirty business she arrives in GYM and invites Eric to go To Thailand to fight in an underground match. Eric thinks that they can Make more money and get their name known, movie doesn't take same Direction as original as what you seen it goes on different way. A while later, Kurt receives an envelope ticket to Bangkok. So he goes There when the fight already started? Plot of movie in my problem is Showed the fight Straight away like the fight already started it's like We missed start when Eric Was fighting with Tong Po already fight was Like 30 Seconds of Film. Then Kurt saw Eric Fighting in with Tong Po (Dave Bautista) seconds later Tong Po got Eric Neck and kills him (Sara Malakul Lane) as Liu Liu, a Local Thai police officer, has been planning to stop the underground Fights much to the chagrin of her superior, Wattona, who is on Marcia's Payroll. After fight was over Kurt was taken to Master Durand (Jean-Claude Van Damme) is now a Teacher like in original movie like Xian Chow. Kurt wanted to know he trained his brother Eric fight Muay Thai soon he leaves Thailand but he rejected that order to go home but He is staying in Thailand because he wants Durand to train him to fight Tong Po. I like movie different direction like it's not really same Expect plot movie when Kurt wants revenge from Tong Po i love opening of movie Alain and George st Pierre in fighting scene straight away the action takes it on love it perfect shot Straight away he was in it but not a lot specially scene where he fights with van Damme. Fight scenes and training were very different comparing with original The training is like today training it goes on the Different Training. The fight scenes is pretty good very well done no slow motion or CGI Crap in movie never was the fight between Kurt and Tong Po it does Bring back traditional like Kurt and tong put their hands in glass Punching each another like original they fight each another with swords That's something different in movie I like that fighting each another With weapons new cool idea I like idea of all Film it takes different Ideas.

only thing i am Disappoint In movie that is Eric was only in it like 30 Seconds Of Movie and actor has passed away after filming this movie Darren Shahlavi only last movie was only in it for 30 Seconds that what got me Upset I don't understand why director or anyone didn't give Darren Shahlavi get him to do more in movie more acting more kicking ass i Thought this is a martial arts movie? But anyway there you go Eric Dies in it so quickly in movie but why writers didn't didn't give

Character more things then he die later on? But writing is a big Mistake in my opinion. One of last time you see Darren Shahlavi in Movie such shames that directors and writes didn't give him more to do Another thing got me upset is Gina Carano character play's goodly And villain one of another she is MMA Fighter retired she is now doing Movies kicking ass she worked with director John Stockwell in movie, In The Blood (2014). Didn't do anything in movie not really in it as much she doesn't do anything in movie.Fight's in movie Gina Carano? But not in this movie that's shame,Cain Velasquez was not in it or didn't say much all he did is hit the crap of Kurt and Durand Kicked him Cain Character why didn't give him something to do, Fabrício Werdum eh is

only in it for 30 seconds fights with Kurt He didn't say anything or does anything it is shame i wanted them to do something and more acting come on i thought this is a big movie with actors And UFC so give them more to do. But still I love this movie cast yeah Van Damme is back different character as Teacher worth watching it is fast paced.plus, did anyone notice Original Tong Po from 1989 Kickboxer was in scene of movie in prison he says to Van Damme and Alain character only says what about me ?

A great action movie comes in a Different direction can't wait for sequel its a great remake and its noting really like original movie just watch original and this flick.

Very familiar

A slick modern remake of the '80s classic KICKBOXER, this one is extremely glossy and looks good throughout, but it lacks the heart and drive of the original. Not that it's bad, it's good enough for a one off watch, but it's not something I'd come back to. Kudos for man-mountain Dave Bautista as the villain and for an impish Van Damme as the mentor this time around, but Alain Moussi is lacking somewhat and it's all very familiar.

Reimagening

Ah well, once the student now the teacher. And it seems that JCVD is doing the transition with ease. Not so easy is our main actor here. Well unless you're saying he's easy pray for Bautistas character. But Bautista, who has proved to be phenomenal in Guardians of the Galaxy, does not have much to do here, apart from looking mean and fighting from time to time (in such a fashion that he does seem unbeatable).

Then you have Gina C. who is so underused it hurts as much as if she threw a punch in your face. At least then you'd know why you hurt though ... Seriously though, there are many things that are wrong with this movie, but if you came here to see people fight, there's been worse movies. The choreography may not be top notch, but it does fulfill all the requirements. We also get a female police something (she's investigating and stuff) as a love interest, who probably wonders why she took acting lessons ... anyway easy on the eyes and really not challenging (no pun intended),with very predictable turns ... (if IMDb is correct a sequel is supposed to come out in 2017 ... you can't wait either, right?)
