Just go away if you're not going to believe me!!!

I had a bad feeling as I watched the opening credits.... And I wasn't disappointed... This movie met my expectations: bad dialogue, horrible score, and unconvincing acting.

I'm sure someone will like this but it's just too bad to watch. I just didn't care about anyone in this movie.

I caught this on Amazon prime but I assume it was made for lifetime or Hallmark... Or some other cable channel.

Heartwarming and Endearing

Anna Miller and Josh Mason seemed destined to be lifelong friends. "Just Another Dream" was successful in developing a sweet friendship and bond between the two youngsters.

One of the best scenes in the film was when young Anna and Josh carved their collective initials JAM on a couple of rocks that would seal their friendship in perpetuity. The film followed through tracing the development of their partnership.

When little Anna was conked on the noggin with a baseball, she started having dreams that prophetically would come true. Her parents believe that she may have a screw loose. She is eventually hospitalized in a mental ward, to no avail.

But at the hospital, Anna meets the janitor named Takota, who gives her a dream catcher and some good advice: "You can't outrun your destiny." It is then that Anna begins to recognize her gift and starts putting it to good use.

While the film was generally compelling as a "back to the future" concept, the ending was far too convoluted with a frenetic pace of moving backward and forward in time. There was still great appeal in the sincerity of the young performers. But there could have been a stronger climactic scene that enables Anna to use her psychic powers to set things right.
