Not just when you think about certain relationships or what might have happened if certain people have met under other circumstances ... but the movie mostly plays like this crazy lover kind of ... affair! Yes pun intended, very much so actually to tell the truth.
Now you may despise jokes like that and I totally understand, but you probably will be more confused thinking about the movie and how it ends. Not because it is unclear! But because there is this whole other movie here ... a gold mine! Well more or less! But most definitely something far better than the thing we get served here ... So overall the ending seems removed from the rest of the movie, intellectually. Still it maybe manages to elevate it at least a little bit

Plot summary
In director John Stewart Muller's stylish psychological thriller, Mira Sorvino stars as Veronica, a politician's wife whose brief affair with a troubled young artist comes back to haunt her when he begins to infiltrate every part of her life. While her husband (Cary Elwes) and daughter (Katherine McNamara) are away, New Orleans psychiatrist Veronica Simon (Mira Sorvino) enjoys a weekend fling with Victor (Christopher Backus),an alluring young sculptor. But after Veronica calls off the affair, Victor refuses to let go and will stop at nothing to have Veronica for himself. Just how far will Victor go to get what he wants, and is there anything Veronica can do to stop his mad obsession before it destroys her family?

Predictable
This movie was trying to be "Unfaithful" of "A Perfect Murder" so badly but just never got there. Also...why does the wife who cheats always have an affair with an artist... it's always an artist! He always has long hair, tattoos and owns a loft, it's just so cliche. But if you're looking for fluff, made-for-tv movie with little depth then maybe this is for you!

This movie is typical stalker/obession movie. acting was solid and didnt miss anything while working at the same time movie is rolling. ending was interesting and left you thinking a bit but that is all.
one time movie. saw this when scrolled and searched through netflix.
