Far better than expected

So I was concerned at the start (especially after the imdb low-score) that this would be a complete cringe-fest but it's honestly hilarious with just the right amount of cheese.

I suppose, reading the reviews, most of the negativity is due to general dislike or disapproval of drag-queens, which is disappointing. However, the musical numbers were consistently catchy, the humour was light and fluffy, and even the guest singer's performance was both on-theme and on-point.

Don't write this off without giving it a try for yourself; it really was surprisingly good. Thought Lady Bunny and Monet were stand-out performers, but no one was weak in the slightest.

Great way to start the season

It's not really Halloween without drag queens. Corny jokes, ridiculous sketches, over the top dance numbers with catchy songs. What a great start to what is looking to be an amazing october. I get how some people who were raised with hatred in their heart and bigotry on their lips might not like this, but really if we pandered to them all the shows would be replaced with homophobic, xenophobic, no race mixing awful rehashes of 50's television as they remember it. Definitely not the Betty White show cause she pissed these people off by letting a black guy dance around white people. For the rest of us, I highly recommend spending a corny few minutes watching the funny drag show. Though the Ke$ha thing can really be skipped, but it's nice that the drag queens and the studios helped out someone who was lost to obscurity like that.

Huluween cringefest

Look, I'm a huge drag fan as much as the next gay, but this special was just straight up baaaad. I didn't expect much, and was still somehow befuddled at how bad it was. The sketches were not funny, the songs were also not funny, and the most random assortment of queens/kings? I love all of these queens but why not get more queens known for comedy? I get that some of the queens included are known for singing, but even that wasn't enough to save this. I'm so glad to see drag content continuing to make bigger waves in mainstream media outside of Drag Race, but this was a flop by all standards. The only good part honestly was Kesha so 2 stars for that. I appreciate the attempt Hulu, but it's not giving.
