This didn't discuss golden retrievers even once. A missed opportunity to talk about golden retrievers being bred for their soft mouths. What a waste of an hour. If I could give zero stars i would.

Not great
Almost lost me in the first couple minutes, but turned out to be a pretty good documentary.
Within the first minute or two the narrator mentioned the widespread myth about domestic dogs being directly descended from gray wolves. That belief was disproven using DNA evidence in 2014, two years before this documentary came out. I decided to keep watching, but remain skeptical. However, I didn't catch any other instances of misinformation, and it ended up being an interesting documentary.
Loved this
Very good to watch loved it all even though they didn't talk about every species that is not practical for a documentary as they need to keep you interested which these did. However I did notice they got one fact wrong about the dalmatian and there spots as the spots do have a purpose from when they were a working dog running alongside horse and cart
