Halloween at Aunt Ethel's (2019) is a movie I recently watched on Tubi. The storyline follows a local legend of a woman who kills and eats children for Halloween. A group of high school kids think it would be smart to catch her in the act and bring her down. What could go wrong? This movie is directed by Joseph Mazzaferro (Share or Die) and stars Chris Cavalier (Hidden Figures),Melissa Daddio (Anne),Sean Michael Gloria (Stargirl),Gail Yost (Inheritance),Madeleine Murphy (Reflections) and Kierney Nelson (Cruel). The storyline for this is a bit all over the place but the casting is surprisingly good. I loved Nelson and Murphy and Yost was a surprisingly solid villain, even if she did over do it at times. Yes, the dialogue is painful, but Murphy and Nelson played off each other well and were also pretty hot (their zings at eachother had me cracking up). What the movie lacked for good dialogue they made up for with good nudity. There's a classic sex scene in this I'll never forget. It had me rolling. Rick the creep was a super weirdo character and a random nice add. The kill scenes in this aren't good but the props are okay and almost makeup for it. Despite some atrocious acting and dialogue, of all the recent independent horror films I've watched (Black Pumpkin, Halloween Party, Hallow be They Name and The Legend of Halloween Jack),this is by far my favorite. I'd score this a 4/10 and recommend only watching it with the appropriate expectations.

This is a film for the young and restless,that whirls multitaskingly, and cant spare a moment of after thinking.,its very very cheap, bad costumes,bad make-up,editing and sound a 3rd grade,seems like the only premise cast wise is big tits and 6-pack. the whole story stinks till nearly abrubt shut down to the average overaged viewer. some of the music are rythmic and nice, so are some of the bestialic items that aunty cooks food on, the making of the toe nail chocolate crackers were a highlight among a few other cruelties.

what could have lurked up the stars to a higher level is to stop saying'' hey'' in every second sentence, and teach the aspiring actors to scream properly.

The film takes place in Yost Town, Florida and stars Gail Yost as Aunt Ethel. Everyone in town knows she eats children that come to her door and the film doesn't even try to create a mystery or a twist. Three teens stake out her place to see if it was true.

A campy romp with very little plot and fake looking body parts. On the juvenile side of humor.
