Genuinely surprised by the quality of this film for its lack of budget. Pretty solid all around. Not too complex of a story but an interesting play on mashing movie plots together. A lot of fun. I did go into it expecting more of a crazy and gory horror movie, which it's not really. Definitely more of a crime movie with elements of cheap slasher campiness.

So not what I expected, but still had a great time with it. 100% seen worse done with way higher budgets.

That being said, the main downside of this film is the budget. Which is unfortunate, cause there's a lot of cool ideas here. If this film had a serious budget I feel a lot of what it was trying to do could have been enhanced and nailed better. Especially being a more true homage to the films it was trying to replicate.

With a bright future as a writer / director Steven Warkel demonstrated his eye for detail, strong plots, and creativity. The unique score and engaging visual flow results in this movie being a twisting, thoughtful, and well executed ride which only can result in future continued success for Warkel and the strong cast. I look forward to what the future will hold for this talented ensemble. #youngdirector.
