This show tries too hard to be relevant. Elian Gonzalez could have written a better show compared to someone who is likely suffering from cultural identity issues.
Plot summary
GENERATION POR QUÉ? is a coming-of-age comedy that follows Jackie Pérez, a first-generation woman pursuing her acting dreams in New York City while enduring her very Cuban parents...who vote conservative and live in New Jersey. She can chase her dreams, but she can't outrun her family.

Thank god it's only 30 minutes. Mom and Dad are overly annoying and have bad cuban accents. Should of been done by a Cuban in Miami not New York.
