Amateur hour

A cheesy, indie slice of horror from Bollywood of all places, although shot in London. The story is lacking and stretched out to the max, involving a cruel boss who fires all of his staff and then finds himself menaced in his own office by a sinister female spirit. That's the entire film - just one weird happening/haunting after another. If this was well-made it might get by, but it's cheap and cheesy throughout, with laughable CGI effects and silly jump scares; amateur hour all round.

Don't waste your time. It's a piece of garbage

Absolutely horrible movie. Not scary at all. You don't root for the main character. In fact you don't develop any kind of emotion towards the movie and there is zero character development. If this is a horror movie then I'm lost with words. If you like quality movies stay away from this movie. If you are into cheap B rated movies then feel free to splurge your time on this.

A waste of time.

The movie was 83 minutes of absolute non-sense. A stupid story with ripped-off horror.

The first question which arose in my tiny little mind was why in the heck would some employees who are fired would start to haunt their employer?? I mean firing someone may have its atrocities but death cant possibly be a punishment for such an action!!

2ndly, It wasn't clear till the end of the movie that if the guy was really being hunted by ghosts (why would fired personnel become ghosts anyway?) or was he hallucinating all along??

3rdly, their was no horror in the movie whatsoever. Neither the sound effects nor the atmosphere managed to scare me even for a single second.

4thly, I was sourly bemused at the way the character of Joy Mital was carried in the movie. At first, he is shown as the ego-maniac who would gamble with his life for his ambitions. Firing of 121 employees testifies the character's presentation as a "tough guy". 30 minutes later, he is seen sobbing like a school girl. I mean C'mon! being scared is one thing, but a character such as that of Joy Mital should've gone down with a little more dignity. Watching him put his head between his legs and whining... was disappointing.

And don't even get me started on the acting of Rahul Bose. I've seen him in quite a few movies.. the guy is much better than this. A disappointing performance.

In a nutshell, the movie was a poor rip off from Japanese and American horror, the acting was bad, the story was horrible and the direction proceeds the notion that it was Sajit Warrier's first movie as a director.

Had I rated it on originality, the rating would have been in negative.
