Empty

No story, confusing characters and no message. Some of the footage could have been used for music videos or advertising with more success.

There is some kind of atmosphere to it, but it's purely in the visuals. I wanted to love this one, but sadly neither trip nor destination were of any interest.

A Straight/Gay/Bisexual mess

There is not a lot going for this film. The acting is well, to be kind, variable. A group of youngish couples in Brussels have orgasms (not I may add together) before the title of the film. Then one of them, post sex, drops dead in what I think is the trauma of the film and certainly is for his female partner. I may have missed something for after that I found the identical hipster beards on the men confusing, and the women so uninspiring that I was barely able to distinguish who was who. After a long while a sort of sense became apparent. The three core characters are a bisexual man, a gay man who thinks being gay means being anally penetrated by multiple men (but he falls in love with said bisexual who also wants to be penetrated!!!) and the girlfriend of the bisexual. After an off screen queer bashing the woman in the triangle accepts that a threesome is best and seemingly this appears ideal. Towards the end of the film there is a quaint 'ladies first' decorum when Mr Bisexual turns to say 'I love you' first to his girlfriend, then after a lingering moment turns to the gay man to say the same. As the gay man likes female breasts it bodes well for a really complex, puzzling sex life for them. I got dizzy working it out. The film ends when the woman whose lover died after sex seemingly retreats, taking her collection of anguished Egon Schiele pictures off her walls. I heaved a sigh of relief that the film was over and decided this was a) clumsily made b) low on psychology with too many characters and c) only for messed up gay men, and straights who want to see and hear a lot of naked flesh and unappealing sexual climaxes. To be approached with deep reservations.
