Plot summary
Ohio high school student Scott Thomas is a good student and nice guy - albeit a little predictable - who is about to graduate and go into pre-med. He is unceremoniously dumped by his whorish girlfriend Fiona on graduation day. Among the people he turns to in his hour of despair is his German pen pal, Mike. Scott and Mike seem to have a special connection. After Mike makes advances to Scott now that he and Fiona are not seeing each other, Scott abruptly sends Mike a message saying he never wants to hear from him again. However, Scott learns shorty thereafter that Mike is actually a beautiful girl named Mieke. By this time, Mieke has blocked his messages. Thinking that Mieke is actually who he was meant to be with, Scott, impulsively for a change, decides to go to Berlin to be with her. Along for the ride is Scott's best friend, the girl crazy Cooper Harris. They manage only to get a flight into London, and thus have to make their way from London to Berlin. Along the way in Paris, they run into their high school friends, twins Jenny and Jamie, who are backpacking through Europe. Scott and Cooper consider them the most mismatched twins ever, Jamie who is a walking encyclopedia, and Jenny a girl who they treat as just one of the guys. As the four try to make their way to Berlin, they run into a few obstacles and few adventures. Scott hopes that all these problems are worth it when he has his much hyped in his mind meeting with Mieke.

European vacation
Eurotrip is a free wheeling loose comedy with shades of American Pie and Road Trip to keep horny teenagers happy.
Scott (Scott Mechlowitz) is dumped by his girlfriend on his graduation day who has been cheating on him with a singer in rock band (cameo by Matt Damon). Scott has been in online contact with a German girl named Mieke but he believes is a guy called Mike and dumps her.
After he sees her photo he decides to pay her a visit in Berlin. He takes his friend Cooper (Jacob Pitts) and is later joined by twins Jamie (Travis Wester) and Jenny (Michelle Trachtenberg). Of course they never get to Berlin first, in order to save costs and mistakenly thinking Europe is small they start their trip in London, going to Paris, Amsterdam and Bratislava before ending up in Berlin.
As they travel to Europe they meet football hooligans, end up in a brothel, go to a nude beach, end up taking dodgy brownies in an Amsterdam café and meet some strange people especially a weirdo on a train.
It is crude humour with plenty of strong language with male and female nudity. It also has charm and fun by the cartload with few star cameos such as Lucy Lawless, Joanna Lumley and Matt Damon popping up.
Fun bits with fun group
Scotty Thomas (Scott Mechlowicz) has just graduated, but his girlfriend Fiona (Kristin Kreuk) dumps him for being predictable. After yet another humiliation by Fiona, he gets drunk and types up an email rant at his German pen pal Mieke. Only he doesn't realize Mieke is a girl who wants to be with him until it's too late. Now he has to go to Germany to track down Mieke with his slacker best friend Cooper Harris (Jacob Pitts). On the way, they stop in Paris to join 'the worst twin ever' friends Jamie (Travis Wester) and Jenny (Michelle Trachtenberg).
Sure this is a silly little teen sex romp. It's like American Pie with more sex jokes and less gross out jokes. But it's got a couple of hilarious unforgettable bits. The robot fight with J.P. Manoux is a gut buster. Fred Armisen is super creepy as the creepy Italian guy. And there is nothing like being chased by a crowd of naked middle aged guy.
The best thing is the fun chemistry between the four leads. They are really appealing as a group. The last half does run out of steam a bit. This movie does need a constant stream of crazy sketches. It is however just an all around fun movie.
